[Abel's Quarry]

Phenomenal

I love everything about this. The color scheme is perfect, the way the red of the legs offsets the natural green of the piece makes the protagonist stand out, and the gray of the monster helps put the interesting legs of the character in front of it very well. The top side lighting is intricate and well thought out too. It really makes the line between traditional and digital painting much closer. This is what digital painting should be. My only beef with the whole thing is that the color of the character's face might need a bit more color to it, as to differentiate between it and the monster a bit more, since it is already much more colorful, but that is just my eye and I can't say that that isn't the natural color of the character. Either way, totally fav'd.

yea, i did want to drop his skin palette alot because his body has gone through the changes of...life? life as in, kidnapped and having his limbs sold to black market alien traders and having them replaced with artificial relics from gods long past and then escaping into the woods while he loses his mind hunting undead monsters.

Pretty good, heavy reference.

Its not bad, but you could have done some more with it. I have seen that picture numerous times, pretty easy to find if you just google "ichigo half hollow mask" and yours came out pretty close. I don't think you traced it, but you didn't have to do the exact same face.

You can definitely add some arms, a background, and even color it I'm sure. You seem to have a good grasp on line weight, and I really do like what you did with the hair! Keep at it, and maybe even touch this one up some for a great piece of fan art!

well u r rigth i did search for the pic in google and tried to actually make an exact copy with out tracin it or nothn...umm nd as i mentioned already diz is my first drawin of ichigo so ill prob.do somthn else with it so thnxz for th review.
